What is the team size requirement?

Do I need to have a project idea before registering?

No, you do not need a project idea at the time of registration. You can brainstorm and form your idea after you register and review the problem statements (if applicable).

You are required to submit a working prototype or proof-of-concept along with a project description, demo video (if applicable), and a public GitHub/GitLab repository link. Detailed submission guidelines will be shared before the event.

Can I use pre-existing code or open-source libraries?

You may use open-source libraries, frameworks, and APIs. However, the core solution must be built during the hackathon. Using a previously built project and re-submitting it is not allowed and will lead to disqualification.

What are the judging criteria?

Projects will be evaluated on Innovation & Creativity, Technical Complexity, Practicality & Impact, Quality of Presentation, and Completion of the working prototype. Each criterion carries equal weightage unless stated otherwise.

Will mentors or support be available during the hackathon?

Yes, mentors and technical experts will be available during the event to help you with questions, feedback, and guidance. Details about mentor sessions and office hours will be shared with registered participants.

How will winners be selected and notified?

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on the judging criteria. Results will be announced on the leaderboard and all participants will be notified via email after the evaluation period ends.

Will participation certificates be issued?

Yes, all participants who submit a valid project before the deadline will receive a digital participation certificate. Winners will receive additional recognition certificates.
